The arrangement for regulated heat transfer uses a capillary heating tube consisting of vacuum type vessel. Heat is supplied to tube at relatively high vapour pressure. A continuous evaporation and condensation process takes place during the heat transfer. Vapour flows through capillary structure to cooling zone chamber and condenses there and condensate flows back into heating zone. Thermal resistance between the heat source and heat tube can be varied. Blocking or bursting of the heat tube is hence avoided. Teemp. of the heat tube (2) and the heat transferred is regulated by a variable thermal resistor between a heat source (5) and a tube (2). A solid, liquid or gaseous material is used as thermal resistance and this substance has temp. dependent thermal conductivity, and varies its thermal conductivity espec. on phase change. The substance can be also a liquid with variable level which is in equilibrium with its vapour pressure.
|
