<p>The strip is for anchoring and sealing window or door frames of the type that have flanges (3) on the outer parts of their horizontal edges, with abutment surfaces (4) facing inwards towards the wall (1). The frame is held in the wall opening by clamping-blocks (6) which are fixed to the frame and abut the inner surface of the wall. The clamping-blocks, which are spaced from each other, are hidden by thin pliable cover strips of arcuate cross-section which snap into place over the clamping-blocks. When the cover strips are in place, one edge of each strip makes a seal with the frame while the other edge makes a seal with the wall.</p> |
