The reading aid uses two movable discs which have been divided into radial sections. The discs are contained side by side in an envelope which has windows formed in it. Inscriptions on the discs appear through the windows. The system is designed to increase grapheme or word element capacity and to present separately certain graphemes so as to avoid unconsidered associations. The system employs the secondary windows which do not display graphemes appearing in the primary windows.
