Jet shape for attachment to a sanitary valve comprises several concentric cylinders connected to each other by several integral radial strips. On one or both sides of at least some of the cylinders are ribs which extend along their whole length and are free w.r.t. the adjoining cylinders. The ribs are pref. located on the insides of at least some of the cylinders, and at least the innermost cylinder is free from ribs. The ratio of the length of the cylinders to the radial distance between two adjoining cylinders is 10:1. The jet shape is pref. made of injection moulded plastic e.g. polyformaldehyde or polyoxymethylene, mixed with PTFE. It is just as effective as a foam jet nozzle, but simple and cheap to mfr. and not prone to calcification.
|
