<p>The filter comprises an article entirely knitted of textile yarn, having a cylindrical body, with one edge finished by an annular elastic border smaller in dia. than the body, and with the other end closed by a base portion which is pref. a prolongation of the cylindrical body, closed by e.g. welding, glueing, binding or ringing. Filter is simple and economical, and may be knitted entirely on a circular knitting machine. The efficiency of the filter may be adjusted by the fineness of the knitted stitches and the tension of the knit. Use of the filter is made easy by the upper annular elastic border, so that it may be mounted directly on to appts., e.g. a paint spraygun.</p> |
