PRODUCTION OF SUBSTITUTE FOR NATURAL GAS

PURPOSE:After reaction of a feedstock of hydrocargbons with steam, a mixture of the reaction product and make-up hydrocarbons is subjected to further reaction, in the presence of a platinum alloy catalyst under specific conditions to provide sufficent steam for its own system without provision of any boiler outside the system and produce a gas of high methane content.
