Extractor for ball cartridge fired from adapted shotgun - has ring placed over cartridge and cooperating with shotgun ejector

The extractor is for the case of a bullet fired from a adapted shotgun. This adaption comprises a rifled lining (6) fittin into one shotgun barrel (7). The base (4) of the bullet (5) has a ring (2) fitted behind the rim. This ring has an extension (3) on top, positioned forward of the ring itself and cooperating with the ejector (8) on the shotgun. As the shotgun is opened, the ejector removes the spent cartridge case. An auxiliary firing pin, in the form of a leaf spring (11) with a point (12), can be fitted to the ring.
