Conveyor track for cases of bottles - has belt rising above level of supports when operating, lowered when at rest

The conveyor track system is for cases with filled bottles. They are moved along a support surface by a friction drive system subdivided into several successive sectors in which the conveyor can be independently operated and controlled. The conveyor track includes sensor links positioned along the track which can switch off the drive system in the appropriate sector whenever a case stays longer within the sensing area than during normal movement. The conveyor is operated by a conveyor belt (3) extending between support rails (6) adjoining it on both sides on which the cases stand. The conveyor belt, when operating, rises slightly above the level of the support rails and when stopped is lowered slightly below that level.
