A vehicle anti-theft device comprises two elongate members, a first (1) of which is provided with a hook-like extension (2) at one end which is adapted to be engaged with a pedal of a motor vehicle. The first elongate member (1) is further provided with a lock (5) at its other end and with at least one ring or sleeve (23) through which the second (11) of the elongate members is slidable. The second elongate member (11) is provided with a ring or sleeve (26) which is adapted to receive the hook-like portion (2) of the first elongate member (1) in a relatively slidable manner and with an end (15) which is receivable in a bore (6) in the lock (5). A cylindrical lock (9) is insertable in a second bore (7) in the lock to lock the two elongate members (1, 11) against relative movement. |
