<p>The shopping trolley has an extending U-shaped handle (6) which has a guide element (9) at its bottom end on each side. The guide element has two other frame members threaded through it so that when it is pulled up with the handle the other frames are splayed apart, pivoted about a hinge at the top (6). One frame carries the wheels (3) and the other forms a floor stand (1c). The trolley collapses into a compact flat shape when the handle is pushed in. In the extended position it forms a stable structure when set upright, so that it does not have to be held all the time.</p> |
