The adjustable servo drive has a worm transmission with a sprung-mounted worm shaft and limit switches. The electric motor is coupled to the input shaft of the worm transmission through a mechanical coupling with adjustable torque. Axial spring pressure acts on the worm shaft in the closing direction. The coupling limit torque and the limit switch adjustment are so adjusted to each other that, when the worm shaft reaches the closed position, it has travelled about 3% of the total adjustment path.
