The combined lamp has a mercury vapour high pressure lamp in an outer envelope supported in a stand, and an incandescent filament surrounding the envelope. The stand and the incandescent filament form a stable unit, with the filament fastened by its both ends at supporting stays mounted on the unit. The stays are fastened in the unit current supply part and fix the filament support. The auxiliary ignition electrode is connected to the current lead stay (14) via an ignition resistor (21). The lamps filament support (1) is coupled to the heated element frame (12) via the rigid stays (9).
