<p>The machine is for the continuous loading or unloading of layers of boxes especially bottle cases on to or from palettes. The machine includes a palette station which carries the palette to be loaded or unloaded in a lined up position with coordinated supply and removal conveyors for the empty or loaded palettes. There is loading table next to the station to hold the layer of cases coordinated with a conveyor to supply or remove the conveyors. The gripper head can move a layer of cases from the table and to the palette or in the reverse direction and there are drive and control installations for the automatic operation of the machine. The table is carried on the traverse (3) and moves up or down with it and a vertical conveyor (10) is connected to the table providing a link between the table and the supply or removal conveyor.</p> |
