The impact drill, in which rotary movement is combined with reciprocating movement, has the drill bit inserted in a sleeve (4) which is turned by a bevel wheel drive (8, 9). Inside the sleeve is an impact member (17) against which reciprocates a piston (13) driven from the rear by a crank drive (11, 12). The rear part of the impact member is formed as a buffer having the same diameter as that of the piston. This buffer has a braking action and incorporates a disc shaped part (21 or 25) which receives the impact of the piston, and which also acts as a sealing ring. In one design, the disc part (21b) has a central boss (21) which is embedded in the rear part of the impact member. In another design, it is a ring (25) clamped between two faces of two separate components (24, 24b).
|
