A permanent magnet mounted on the ski induces signals in measurement induction loops (3) laid over the jumping area, which are amplified and evaluated in a central unit. A control induction loop (4) is used to check the arrangement and to optimise the degree of amplification of the individual measurement induction loop amplifiers (5).
