An outer frame flaps up from each end of a centre frame on which is the seed-hopper (3) incorporating a hand-operated lid (6) covering the opening. Underneath the seed-hopper (3) are distributors (13) in a casing (14) screwed to the hopper. Beneath the distributors is a flap (7) pivoting on an axle and worked by a lever. The seeds fall into funnels (16) positioned in the tops of vertical pipes (17) and then into flexible hoses (24) into which compressed air is introduced from a distributor pipe (18) joined to a ventilator. The seeds then are conveyed to shares fixed to the frame.
