<p>The process and equipment relate to the determination and registration of the elasticity of curvature and the rigidity of a ski under load by measuring the stress on a support. The equipment comprises a bank (2) with rollers to support the ski (1), the bank being at least twice the length of the ski. Just below the upper edge of the bank a pressure sensitive roller (3) is suspended, so that its upper surface is just above the other rollers. It is connected to a registering device (8) so as to record the pressure as the ski is moved along the bank. This occurs with the ski under pressure from a pressure-piston (4) and cylinder (5) which are held in a frame and drawn along by a cord (6).</p> |
