PURPOSE:To enhance the resolving power by absorbing the carriers which are not stored within the photo detector device via the dark output charge transfer unit provided separately among the charge carriers which are generated by the incident ray to be given to the photo detector device, and then mixing the non-stored carriers through the differential output device to eliminate the dark output component.
