PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer of a non-impact system by which appropriate printing is executed on multi-part paper. SOLUTION: When printing data (paper thickness presence/absence and printing data) received from a printing controller 1 is printed on the multi-part paper by the printer 1B of a laser beam system, toner is stuck on the front paper of the multi-part paper by the laser beam system, and the thermal fixing of the front paper and sensitization for sensitized paper succeeding next paper are executed by a light source in accordance with the paper thickness data at a light source fixing part 7 at the time of fixing the toner. Thus, the appropriate printing is executed even for the multi-part paper whose layer constitution is different.
