The skimmed milk powder denatured with fishmeal is mixed with precipitated, spray-dried silicic acid having a BET surface area of 100 to 500 m<2>/g. Even by such a low proportion of silicic acid, which does not interfere with the energy balance of the mixture used as a feedstuff, the caking of the feedstuff caused by the high moisture content of the fishmeal in the mixture is prevented, so that this remains pourable and able to be stored in silos for months. The mining work necessary hitherto as a result of the caking is thus dispensed with. |
