METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WINDING STEM FOR TIMEPIECE, WINDING STEM FOR TIMEPIECE, AND TIMEPIECE WITH WINDING STEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a winding stem for a timepiece that can further reduce costs by performing rolling machining directly from a base. SOLUTION: When a winding stem 20 is to be manufactured, a diameter dimension D1 of a base 1 is set to the same effective diameter D2 of an external thread 21 to be formed, thus minimizing the amount of machining of the external thread 21 and hence easily forming the external thread 21 that could not be machined easily before and directly performing rolling machining from the base and therefore eliminating the need for forging machining that has been made before and reducing setting time, eliminating the need for annealing treatment due to forging machining, and hence drastically reducing machining time and further reducing costs.
