PURPOSE:To enhance the responsibility from higher to lower brightness ranges by interposing between a filter and a light receiving element a light source for bias light supply, which has spectroscopic energy characteristics within the sensitivity wavelength range of the light receiving element but outside of the transmission wavelength range of the filter.
