Dense wavelength division multiplexer using multiple reflection optical delay lines

Disclosed is a lxN dense wavelength division multiplexer which is a generalization of the 1x2 fiber Machelson wavelength division multiplexer. It includes an NxN star coupler (220) and N reflection optical delay lines (230) of unequal length. Each reflection optical delay line (230) differs in length from its adjacent one by a predetermined amount.
