PURPOSE: A method for protecting a driving element of a full-automatic washing machine is provided to prevent malfunction of driving elements for supplying power with an inverter motor at a high temperature and overheating of the inverter motor. CONSTITUTION: A method for protecting a driving element of a full-automatic washing machine includes the steps of sensing a temperature of driving elements for supplying current to an inverter motor(S101), determining whether the sensed temperature is higher than 90°C(S102), carrying out a normal washing pattern if the sensed temperature is lower than 90°C(S105) while carrying out a washing pattern change or low-speed rotating of the motor if higher(S103), determining whether the temperature of the driving element decreased below 75°C after step S103(S104), carrying out the normal washing pattern if below 75°C(S105), and comparing washing times for carrying out rinsing if a set washing time is passed above 75°C while carrying out the washing pattern change or low-speed rotation of the motor if not passed(S107). |
