PURPOSE:To ensure the high performance, low noise, and miniaturization of an apparatus by providing non-water supply moistening means utilizing water in fresh air as moistening water in a heat pump type air conditioner having functions of cooling, heating, and dehumidification. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a non-water supply moistening unit 1 in an air conditioner indoor machine 101 which unit includes an enclosed container 4 into which there is introduced indoor air sucked by a fan 7 corresponding to a front suction inlet 8. The non-water supply moistening unit 1 introduces fresh air into the enclosed container 4 and adsorbs and stores water in the fresh air in a honeycomb-shaped humidity absorption/discharge molded member 2 when a pump 6 is driven using two-way solenoid valves 5a, 5b in a flow passage configuration of fresh air introduction and discharge to the outside of a room. The pump 6 is stopped when the operation reaches a water saturation state of a predetermined level or higher, and the solenoid valves 5a, 5b are changed over to a flow passage configuration of indoor air introduction and discharge into a room to discharge water freed from the member 2 from a blowoff, outlet 9 into the room as moistening air by energizing the heater 3. |
