<p>Washing machine comprises a single-phase asynchronous electric motor, and electronic speed control means. The motor pref. has a given number of different coils with windings with different numbers of poles, with the same number of different synchronism speeds as coils. The coils conform to the ratio of the drum - motor pulleys and to the max. and min. speeds desired. The motor is pref. supplied with variable voltage by the electronic speed control means, which allows motor speed to be changed: the control means comprises a two-way switch operated by semiconductors, and a trigger circuit for varying the supply voltage to the motor. Control of the motor speed is pref. obtd. bu suitably connecting the different coils, while the control means remains connected to the same terminals.</p> |
