The irrigation nozzle has a fixed water supply below the level of the ground. It comprises a tubular arm (12) with a union at one end, movable on the pipe between a stowed position below ground level and a working position above it. The union (13) between arm and pipe shuts off the supply in the stowed position and opens it up in the working position. A tap (27) can be provided on the arm near the outlet union. A valve can be provided in the supply pipe for shutting off and draining for frost protection.
