Process for aromatising materials

Materials such as foodstuffs, luxury foods and stimulants or cosmetics are aromatised by adding to these materials to be aromatized a menthol-carrier combination obtained by emulsifying menthol and a carrier and drying, in which menthol-carrier combination a ratio of menthol to carrier is 5-70 to 95-30% by weight and the carrier contains or is composed of gum arabic or a partially hydrolysed starch product containing at least 15% by weight of water-soluble parts.
