In the case of heat-insulated window structures which consist predominantly of metallic material and have a sash frame (10) and a storey frame (2), the box-shaped, load-bearing inner profiles (3, 5) are provided with outer shells (4, 6), while maintaining space therebetween. The connection of the same is effected by webs which project from the inner profiles and from the outer shells, towards one another and such that they overlap one another, and are connected to one another by pins. In a structure of this kind, in each case two webs (10, 11 and 12, 13) are arranged on each inner profile (3, 5) and on each outer shell (4, 6), the webs (12, 13) arranged on the outer shells enclosing the webs (10, 11) arranged on the inner profile, and the spacing (14) between the inner-profile webs and the outer-shell webs enclosing them not being greater than the minimum thickness of the spacing (15) between the inner profiles and outer shells. <IMAGE>
