PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To park a lot of bicycles even in a small site area, speedily and efficiently take in and out the bicycles, and largely reduce management cost and facility cost on a bicycle parking facility. SOLUTION: In a bicycle parking building 10, a first elevation shaft 24 and a second elevation shaft 26 are provided in parallel so that pallets 12 for housing the bicycles 8 can be disposed in multiple stages. On the first elevation shaft 24, a first pallet carrying means 14 to elevate the pallet 12 is provided. On the second elevation shaft 26, a second pallet carrying means 16 to elevate the pallet 12 is disposed. At a lower end of the first elevation shaft 24 and the second elevation shaft 26, a lower transfer means 20 for horizontally moving the pallet 12 is disposed, and at an upper end of the first elevation shaft 24 and the second elevation shaft 26, an upper transfer means 22 for horizontally moving the pallet 12 is disposed.
