PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended scaffold for steel work capable of being installed in a short time without requiring labor, fitted with a handrail, and having high safety. SOLUTION: Straddle metal fixtures 11 each compring an inverted U-shaped straddle metal fixture body 12, holes formed on its side sections, and a columnar base section 16 provided on the upper side section of the straddle metal fixture body 12 are fitted to two parallel steel beams 18 to cover them, respectively. Both end sections of a support bar 19 are inserted into the holes 14 formed on the side sections 13 respectively and suspended between the steel beams 18 to form a frame. Scaffolding boards 22 are mounted on the frame, handrail posts 23 are erected and coupled with the columnar base sections 16 provided on the upper side sections of the straddle metal fixtures 11, and both end sections of a handrail 24 are fastened to the handrail posts 23, respectively.
