PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter support device of lateral rotation lock type having a simple structure and dispensing with a conventional receive seat. SOLUTION: This rain gutter support device A of lateral rotation lock type is provided with a gutter support device main body 3 connected slidably with a mounting rod 2 and a lateral rotation lock lever 1 rotating in the horizontal direction, and they are mutually connected by a connection shaft 4 passing through them vertically to bring the gutter support device main body 3 into pressure-contact with the mounting rod 2 and fix it. A swelling part 13 provided with an inclined part 13a is formed in the lateral rotation lock lever 1, and when the lateral rotation lock lever 1 is rotated to a lock position, the gutter support device main body 3 is lifted, is brought into pressure-contact with the mounting rod 2, and is fixed.
