PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the simple efficient fixing structure of a catch capable of surely fixing the catch for opening and closing between a freely openable and closeable engine cover and a room cover by few working mandays and the number of parts. SOLUTION: The first member 14a of the catch 14 composed of the first member 14a with a retaining shaft 19 for retaining a hook 28 and the second member 14b with the hook 28 freely engaged and disengaged with and from the retaining shaft 19 is fixed to the engine cover 13 by welding, and another second member 14b is installed on the room cover 12 side in a freely positioning manner in the axis direction of the retaining shaft 19 by a slot 31 and a bolt 32.
