PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an earth-retaining wall by using cord- or rod-shaped members resistant to rusting in soil and having high tensile strength, in binding earth caught between L-shaped concrete blocks. SOLUTION: Earth is cast and rolled between the L-shaped concrete blocks 4 installed in horizontally spaced apart relation, with their respective floorboard portions facing each other, and the rolled earth caught between the L-shaped concrete blocks is bound by the cord- or bar-shaped members 6 resistant to rusting in soil and having high tensile strength, whereby prestressed reinforced earth is formed.
