摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forcibly fully open a radial gate by increasing the weight of a water weight corresponding to an excessive decrease in level of water on the downstream side of a channel or forcibly fully close the radial gate by reducing the weight of the water weight. SOLUTION: A water weight chamber 9 is provided beside the radial gate 1 installed in the channel 2, and an upstream water chamber 10, a downstream water chamber 11 and a float chamber 12 are provided in the water weight chamber 9. An upstream communication passage 10a is provided for communicating the upstream water chamber 10 with the upstream side 2a of the channel, and an intermediate communication passage 11a is provided for communicating the downstream water chamber 11 with the float chamber 12 at or above a set level of water. An auxiliary communication passage 15 is provided for communicating the downstream water chamber 11 with the float chamber 12, which downstream water chamber is set at a height below the set level of water in the intermediate communication passage 11a. A float valve 16 which opens at low levels of water is provided at the float chamber side outlet of the auxiliary communication passage 15. The water weight 14 having a drain constricting part 14b therein is provided in the downstream water chamber 11.
