<p>A table is fitted with a transverse bridge which is driven in the longitudinal direction over the pane, so heads mounted on the bridge and fitted with scoring wheels can make longitudinal scores on the pane. The bridge is also fitted with a trolley driven in the transverse direction along the bridge, i.e. at 90 degrees to direction. The trolley is fitted with a scoring wheel making the transverse scores. The trolley carries a device applying identification marks to each scored zone, esp. a printer providing identification marks on self adhesive labels carried by a tape. The printer pref. has a head fitted with seven vertical needles. The tape travels round a roller so the labels are fixed on each zone forming a separate pane after fracture along the longitudinal and transverse scores. Each pane is provided with marks showing e.g. thickness, dimensions, destination etc. in an automatic process.</p> |
