PURPOSE:To prevent color shade and color slurring by providing a rotational speed smoothing means including a flywheel which is integrally joined with a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the rotational speed smoothing means including the flywheel 142 which is integrally joined with the photosensitive drum 121. A brake 144 is slightly applied to the photosensitive drum 121 via a flywheel 142 all the time. Therefore, the photosensitive drum 121 has no oscillating due to backlash which is caused in a gear 136 and a driving gear 137, etc., and is energized on its delay side and driven. Thereby, the photosensitive drum is free of the trivial periodical fluctuation by intermittent driving and is rotated by a pulse motor in accurate synchronization with an optical system. In respect of the picture quality, a picture is formed without jitter, irregularity and color slurring. |
