PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system that can test an interphone used for a nurse call without disturbing jobs of nurses. SOLUTION: In the interphone system, a controller 30 selects reply destinations of a master set 40 with respect to calls from slave sets 1, 2, 3, 4 and an adaptor 10 (20) has a test state switch (call type setting means) 13 (23) that sets whether or not a call type from the slave sets 1, 2, 3 and 4 indicates a test call, and the controller 30 is configured to place a reply ranking with respect to the test call lower than the reply ranking with respect to an operating call.
