<p>Water heater collecting the energy of the sun, has its various units fixed between the rafters of the roof under glass tiles. The circulation of the air between the rafter is prevented by sealing off with synthetic film, and the efficiency of the heat absorption is increased by fixing the heat conducting plates supporting the separate tubes for the heat conveying medium, directly to the metal supporting plate for the unit. The supporting plates are painted matt black and they rest on rock wool or glass fibres. Glass tiles of similar design to earthenware roofing tiles are easily obtainable and these give the greenhouse effect.
