PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat capacitor, in which bulge of the capacitor case is suppressed, without increasing dimensions, cost, weight or the like of the capacitor. SOLUTION: This flat capacitor, in which the capacitor assembly is accommodated in a flat case 11 which has a pair of main wall members 16, 17, each of which has a large radius of curvature and are mutually counterposed, where one of the main wall members 16 has a concave shape. This flat capacitor can suppress the bulge of the case with an inexpensive and simple structure.
