Motor-generator set with two brush systems

The motor/generator set has a shared shaft but separate magnet systems. The brush systems (32, 34) of the generator rotor (14) and the motor rotor (12) face one another at the middle of the shared housing.The motor and generator share the same iron return piece (22) and their rotors are close together axially. The shared shaft (16) has three bearings. The middle bearing (46) is near the end of the motor magnets on one side of the two brush systems.
