Lightweight welded rope pulley - with rope supported on weld seam between peripheral ring and main ring mounted on hub

The lightweight welded rope pulley comprises a single radial ring (4) welded to the hub (2), and to which a peripheral ring (6) is welded to form a V-shaped groove for the rope (7). The latter is supported on the weld seam (8) formed between the two rings. The portion of the radial ring welded to the hub can be corrugated for increased strength. The design is particularly for use with jib cranes.
