The liquid flow meter (1) has an upper housing component (2) and a lower housing component (3) both of which have an enamel anticorrosion coating (4) on their inner surface. In the region of the abutting surfaces (5, 6) of the two components, the enamel layer extends towards the exterior; a further extension (7, 8) is not covered by the enamel. This extension has precise dimensions which correspond with the dimensions of a mounting extension (13) on the frame of the liquid flow measuring appts. (14) and serves for its precise location. The absence of the enamel layer permits alignment of the axes of the appts. and the housing. The two housing components are clamped together and sealing rings (15, 16) are held against the enamel layer to prevent egress of the corrosive liquids.
