Data exchange control between central unit and magnetomotive store - uses track marker detector and logic circuits in control unit combing marker signals and instructions

The device for controlling data exchange between the tracks of a magnetomotive store (3) and the central unit of a data processing system is designed to operate without the use of a buffer store, address register, or an address comparator. An instruction register (4) consisting of one or more flip-flops store instructions from the central unit (1). Marks on the store tracks are detected by one or more devices (7) which generate marker signals. Marker and instruction signals are logically combined in a set of control unit (5) logic circuits such that the instructions become effective when a corresp. marker signal is detected.
