BCD coded signal decoder system - has five relays whose contacts are combined in circuits for signal decoding and single errors recognition

Signals have parity test bits, and relays are provided in the five signal channels. The decoder recognizes single errors in the transmitted BCD-coded signals. In order to decode a signal three from four change-over contacts (20) of a first relay, three from four change-over contacts (21) of a second relay and one of four contacts (22) of a third relay are linked to form ten circuits (0, 1-9). One from four contacts (23) of a fourth relay, and two from four contacts (p) of a fifth relay are combined in four circuits (8; 9; 1, 2, 4, 7; 0, 3, 5, 6). In order to recognize single errors, all the remaining contacts of the five relays are combined in a circuit (F).
