<p>Waste paper disintegrating and classifying appts. has a cylindrical casing with a front cover with axially spaced waste paper supply chamber, disintegrated paper collecting chamber and a discharge chamber for the light fraction of impurities which enter the discharge chamber from the paper supply chamber through a hollow shaft and radical tubular spigots, each terminating in the respective chambers. The paper supply chamber is supplied with waste paper through a supply line and the heavy fraction of impurities is removed from the chamber through another line, the lines being arranged tangential to the chamber wall. Chambers are emptied periodically by respective valves. Waste paper is disintegrated by an impeller disposed in front of a screen.</p> |
