<p>A pressure casting machine includes a work piston and cylinder, a work amplifying piston and cylinder and a delay valve. The space in the work cylinder is connected by a supply conduit to a pressure medium, the delay valve being located in the supply conduit between the medium and the work cylinder, and the conduit being located externally of the work amplifying piston. The location of the delay valve externally of the work amplifying piston, instead of inside it as with conventional practice, allows access to the valve and does not weaken the piston.</p> |
