PURPOSE:To provide the title catalyst obtd, by supporting a Pt-Ph type catalyst on carrier together with an alkali metal chloride, which is suitable for purification of harmful components such as CO and HC in exhaust gas besides NOx and has a superior effect of purifying the harmful components even in an oxidizing atmosphere.
