摘要

PURPOSE:To provede the sharp fixed and movable edges of a cutter by forming a metal carbide coating on the sliding face of one or both of the edges by a metal diffusionpenetration method so as to form a sliding face of low friction coefficient and high hardness, thereby reducing a rise in temp. and wear of the edges due to no lubrication and making heat treatment unnecessary.
