PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for sales management which can speedily and accurately manage plural vending machines at a low cost. SOLUTION: The vending machines 3A are connected to a main computer 1 via a radio network 2. A common electronic mail address Ax is allocated to the vending machines 3A. Characteristic electronic mail addresses are allocated to respective main computer 1. the vending machines 3A send electronic mail periodically and at a replenishment request times. The respective main computers 1 manage the sales states of the respective vending machines according to identification numbers ID included in the electronic mail. The sales state data are visually displayed. In a database 9 that the main computers 1 share, the sales status for each vending machine are recorded. |
